Ontario, Canada, formed in 2022 to bring together car enthusiasts focused on classic, vintage and specialty vehicles.
The club was created by Steve Cussons a classic car owner and enthusiast, local resident in Halton and an active community member supporting various charities in the region. There is a large contingent of like-minded car owners in the area and no local venue to share their amazing vehicles. Creating a local club to accommodate this and ensuring the activities would bring joy, and benefit to all aspects of the Burlington community and surrounding area is the goal.
We welcome both owners of these amazing vehicles and enthusiasts of the classic car & hot rod era to become members. The nominal fee is part of the funds raised each year for the designated charity. We encourage our membership to donate their time, when possible throughout the year to help organize and run our different events. We also encourage our members to purchase our club wearables & other merchandise to bring awareness to the organization and all proceeds are given to our charities.
Our membership is open to individuals and families coming from various communities as well as backgrounds. Our special sauce is our common love for our rides. The Rebels Classic Car & Hot Rod Club is an all-inclusive organization which means we welcome membership from owners & enthusiasts of all genres of vehicles. Our live events are open to all makes and models. Parking for classic cars 20 years and older are in a designated area. Our events will regularly hold theme nights where other vehicle classes will be invited to participate.
Rebels Classic Car & Hot Rod Club's mission is to be the go-to club supporting local community needs including fundraising, awareness & attending events with our beautiful vehicles thereby attracting visitors to those events. Our inaugural year will have a weekly cruise night each Monday (except holiday Mondays) at the Fairview St. Burlington Canadian Tire lot. We will have room for up to 700+ cars. Our goal is to make each week fun and entertaining. We are humbled to have support from many local, national, and global sponsors and supporters who will ensure our events are a zero cost to participate and enjoy. We do encourage donations, participation in fundraising activities at the various events, membership purchases & club swag to help support our operating expenses which will be kept to a minimum.
